Taxi stand redesign Amsterdam Central Station appears to work

The redesign of the taxi stand area in front of the Central Station appears to have a positive effect.

It is now less crowded with taxis, and clients are not approached by taxi drivers any more.

It still happens that taxi clients get refused for short rides, although this is against the rules.

As a barrier prevents that more than 15 taxis at a time are waiting at the taxi stand, a lot of taxis are cruising around the station to wait to get in. Also, more taxis seem to move to the taxi stand at the Leidseplein square.
