Protest against special pier for cheap flights

Environmentalists have protested against a new pier that Schiphol Airport is building for the cheap air companies.

They attached a large banner to Schiphol Plaza, saying 'The sky has a limit. Clean air now'.
The contend that the new pier is not in accordance with European rules for air quality.
The new pier enables more flights to and from Schiphol Airport, and thus creates more pollution caused by the planes, and by the passenger cars (58% of the transport to and from the airport is by car).

Schiphol Airport denies that the new pier is against any rules.
