On Thursday afternoon a few thousand households have been without electricity for a few hours.
The power outage was caused by the works for the new metro line, the Noord-Zuid-lijn, at Vijzelgracht.
The power outage had an effect in a large part of the centre, and in neighbourhood De Pijp, just south of the centre.
Around 6pm the electricity was back on again in most homes.
