New hotel concept Yotel opened on Amsterdam Schiphol airport

The new hotel concept 'Yotel' has been opened on Schiphol.
The Yotel cabins are intended for travellers having to wait a long time for a (connecting) flight.


The Yotel cabins are behind the passport control, and have to be booked for a minimum of 4 hours.
They are relatively cheap: E 35,- for 1 person, E 60,- for 2 (for 4 hours).
The cabin have a hip design and are of 5 stars quality, except for the space: they are relatively small. In them there is a bed, a rain shower, internet, tv, air-conditioning and room service.

There are 57 cabins. They are intended for travellers who have to wait a long time for a (connecting) flight.
