This monument for deaf Jews was revealed on October 17, 2010, to commemorate the deaf Jews who were killed by the Nazi regime. Opposite from the monument is the building where the Jewish deaf school was located. The German occupiers used this building to collect deaf Jews before transporting them to the concentration camps.
