Metro train derailed near Amsterdam Central Station

On Monday evening a metro carriage derailed near the Central Station of Amsterdam. Nobody was injured.

Between Central Station and Nieuwmarkt station (the first station from Central Station) no metro traffic is possible.

GVB (the Amsterdam public transport company) operates a special tram line 20 to metro station Weesperplein (the 3rd station from CS).
From station Weesperplein you can take lines 53 and 54 to Amsterdam South-East. Line 51 (to Amstelveen) runs from station Spaklerweg to Amstelveen.
Between the stations Weesperplein and Waterlooplein there is a special train service.

The latest information is on the GVB website.
