Man shot down in Chinese restaurant in Amsterdam

This afternoon, a man has been shot in the Chinese restaurant 'Nam Tin' at Jodenbreestraat, in the centre of Amsterdam.

The gunman walked into the restaurant and fired at the victim. Then he ran out. He has not yet been caught. The victim is severely injured and has been taken to hospital.
Other guests of the restaurant are not injured.

Police have blocked off the area around the restaurant. It is not known what the background is of the shooting.
