Man dies after jumping off Bijenkorf department store in Amsterdam

A man died today, after jumping off the Bijenkorf building, at Dam Square.

At first the police thought of a crime, but it turned out to be a suicide. Reanimation was attempted, but the man died almost instantly.
The area around the Bijenkorf building has been closed off for a while.
It is unknown how the man could reach the roof of the building.
