Iftar meal for Amsterdam homeless people

This evening, a free Iftar meal will be given to 150 homeless people in the City Hall of Amsterdam.

The meal is an initiative of the Islamic Relief organization, in cooperation with the (Christian) Salvation Army. An Iftar meal is a meal eaten after sunset during Ramadam, the fast period for muslims that is now going on.

The evening is also meant for the relief workers of both organizations to get to know each other better.
