The Holland Pass offers an all-in-one discount card for Amsterdam and other big cities in Holland. The pass seems to be a particularly good option if you stay for more than just a few days, and if you also visit other places than Amsterdam (but the pass can also work well if you only visit Amsterdam).
This pass covers not only Amsterdam, but also many tourist attractions in interesting towns nearby, such as The Hague, Rotterdam, Utrecht, Delft, Zaanse Schans and others.
The pass works in a flexible way: it includes Gold and Silver tickets, that you can spend as entrance tickets or for transport, excursions, bike rental, etc.
How much you save will depend on how you spend the Golden and Silver tickets that are on your pass. If you spend one of your Golden tickets on the Boom Chicago comedy show, you save E 25.50 and if you spend it on a bike rental, you save E 8.-.
In Amsterdam it includes major museums such as Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum and Stedelijk Museum (Anne Frank House is not included).
Public transport in Amsterdam is also one of the options (but public transport cards in other cities can also be chosen).
The pass includes one train trip (for 1 person) from Schiphol Airport to Amsterdam Centraal station.
A canal cruise is also included.
With the pass you can skip the line for buying tickets at major attractions (this can save a long wait).
The pass is valid for one month after first usage.
