French tourist who killed dog not under influence of 'magic mushrooms'

The French tourist who killed his own dog in a car along the Herengracht canal, a few days ago, was not influenced by 'magic mushrooms'.

Although the Frenchman said himself that he killed his dog under the influence of marihuana and 'magic mushrooms', the GGD (the city health authorities) now say that this is not the case.
They investigated the case and showed that he did not use the mushrooms. He was probably suffering from a psychosis, a psychiatric condition.

Nevertheless, the news had caused further commotion in The Hague, where the call for a prohibition of this drug has strengthened. Dried mushrooms are already an illegal drug, fresh mushrooms are still officially under investigation.
