Falcons with nest in chimney of electricity plant get webcam

A falcon pair (peregrines) have decided to nest in the chimney of an electricity plant, the Hemwegcentrale.

The falcons are one of the fastest birds of prey in the world, and very rare in the Netherlands.
The electricity plant is located in the wester harbour area of Amsterdam.
On April 10 the first egg was laid and more are probably to follow.

The Dutch Peregrine Workgroup made a special webcam, so that you can view the nest through their website (during the daytime).
The website is in Dutch - click on 'Live beelden' in the menu on the left, then on 'Amsterdam', also in the menu on the left.
