On Saturday May 19 there will be a party on and around Nieuwmarkt square, to celebrate the birthday of Buddha.
The celebration is organized by the Chinese community in Amsterdam, and is centered around the Chinese temple on Zeedijk.
The programme:
10.30: parade
12.00: ceremony
1-6pm: performances, Buddhist fair and food market on Nieuwmarkt square.
