Cafe de Ceuvel

Cafe de Ceuvel

Cafe de Ceuvel opened in June 2014, and was an almost immediate success.
The cafe is part of the social enterprise project 'de Ceuvel', of which the most eye-catching aspect is that the businesses are in old houseboats that are placed on land - placed around a bamboo walkway.

The development is all about environmental sustainability, and so is the cafe. The cafe is built out of recycled material, and on the menu are (as much as possible) locally produced, organic food.

The cafe means a further development of Amsterdam North as a 'place to be'.
